terrible Product

Have tried this product three times, once laying it and covering it, followed directions on watering with no results. Tried laying after aerating followed directions on watering with no results. Tried raking, laying and covering followed directions on watering with no results. Bought another brand of regular builders grass seed and had grass within a month

For this seed mix, which contains tall fescue, ryegrass, and kentucky bluegrass soil temperatures must be at least 55 degrees F for Grass Seed to germinate. Daytime temperatures need to consistently be above 65 degrees F. This Grass Seed will germinate best when temperatures are consistently in the 65-80 degree F range. Cool nighttime temperatures and fluctuating temperatures will slow germination. Germination time is based on ideal conditions of soil warmth and a constant amount of moisture.

This is a miracle product!

I can’t believe I didn’t use this sooner. I’ve used “professional lawn care services” that have been floating around my neighborhood only to be left disappointed. My grass was thin and balding in spots and I recently put down Thickr and now have one of the best looking land in my neighborhood. This is an absolutely amazing product and I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner instead of wasting money on Trugreen. Thank you Scotts for making a novice look like a pro.

Unbelievable!.......... In A Great Way!

I have a strip of ground ten ft wide on the North side of my house between my neighbor's house and mine. It is probably 90% complete shaded by two large mature North American Holly trees and the houses. I had some of this seed left after using it on my regular yard. I just threw some out on the unworked, completely bare, packed ground. Eight days later I have seedlings two inches tall growing in this "no man's land" I am thoroughly shocked! This is a amazing product; best seed I have ever used!

From Thin Lawn to Thick Lawn

My lawn has looked terrible for years, despite using lawn services and even seeding myself. Then in march I limed my yard and then put Scotts 3-in-1 down. Wow! What a difference. I'm so proud of my yard right now. Thanks Scotts!

Improved the lawn!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My lawn was starting to take a turn for the worse and I needed to take action quick. I got this product and put it in my spreader and applied a nice coat to the lawn. This helped turn my thin grass into a thick green lawn grass. This bag is a 3-in-1 solution containing seed, fertilizer, and soil improver that quickly helps the lawn. After using this product I could already see a difference in my lawn within a few days. My grass is alot greener and looks alot healthier than it did too! I still have half a bag left and will be ready to apply to my lawn again when the warm weather come around again!

Fantastic Results IF Used as Intended

My lawn was Between bad and horrible, and had been for years. Decided to use Thick'R Lawn due to the grass seed, fertilizer and soil amendments that compose the contents. Also decided to follow the directions ( for once ): rake the lawn, cut same, then apply Thick'R Lawn with a drop spreader, then water. The important (MOST important) part is the watering, which must be done daily for at least two (2 ) weeks ( as the weather was HOT and DRY, I watered 6 weeks daily ), which is an absolute minimum That can not be stressed enough - the lawn must not be allowed to dry out, as the seeds will also dry and NOT germinate. Allow the seedlings to grow to cutting height ( 4" minimum in my experience ) then mow as usual. This product will fill-in 50% at least, and looks great. Easily a ' 10 ', or five ( 5 ) full stars.
