This is my first handheld. I made cream pies that need constantly stirred for 1/2 hour. Worked wonderful! I have also made cream of cauliflower soup. So much better than having to put it in a blender and back into the pot. I used the chopper to make guacamole. It worked great. It was very smooth. If like it chunky this may not be the tool for you. It also chopped up walnuts for a cookie recipe with non problem.

Was looking for an immersion blender did not want cordless and also wanted the chopping feature this fit the bill. So far have only used it for smoothies and hopefully use it making soups. Has worked well so far. A little concerned about instructions stating only run continuously for 30 seconds. Has not been an issue yet but have needed it to run that long maybe I’m overthinking it but the future will tell. So far it’s easy to operate. Not sure some of the complaints about the buttons to operate. I find it very easy and having a cord is no issue
