Works as described. I don’t find safety switch difficult. Bought for creaming soup. Haven’t tried the attachments. Easy cleanup compared with my portable mixer and less splashing.

This piece of equipment if so simple to use and cuts the worktime when cooking on the stove making soups, sauces and more. You can make your items completely smooth, or leave semi chunky. How did I not know about this before now! Love using this and would recommend it for your kitchen.

I bought this blender because it's Cuisinart and so far I have had great luck with this brand. The hand blender didn't let me down. I really like that it's all metal and it feels sturdy. I like using it mostly for blending soups instead of using a blender. I also like the safety feature. Overall I am very happy with it.
