I don't use this blender extremely frequently, but it's so convenient for a variety of purposes. The whisk attachment achieves stiff peaks like a dream, and the immersion blender has been great for everything from soups to blended drinks. I have no idea about how long the blades stay sharp and effective, but so far I have no complaints.

I feel this smart stick is an invaluable tool for my kitchen. I use it to make jams, sauces, butters for a perfect consistentcy. I grind meats to make salads for sandwiches and can make ice cream shakes. I like the placement of the buttons on the newer ones is much better.

Read the directions. There is a special way to turn it on. Very powerful machine. Works great. I even used it to mix up my deviled egg ingredients. It came out smooth and delicious.
