I purchased a Smart Stick a few days ago and have used it 4 or 5 times. The quality of the applance is obvious and it is well made, solid and feels good in my hand. I do not like the fact I have tp press 2 buttons to start to use it but then only use one button. It is counter intutive and awkward. I realize it is supposed to be a safety feature but I wonder if it is really needed. I am glad I purchased it and am using it often. I will get used to the second button but suggest they reconsider its necessity.

We received this product as a wedding gift & were thrilled. Overall, it has been great - sturdy & well-made, easy to use & clean, multi-functional and well worth the minimal amount of precious kitchen storage space it occupies. Only problem - when you wash the food processor attachment lid, water seems to be stuck in it. When I shake it, I can still hear the water inside. I am concerned that will become moldy and unusable pretty soon, however, the other attachments will still be useable & the quality is mostly worth that design flaw.

Straight out of the box it did not work. This is my fourth immersion blender in 25 years. I think I know how to use them. Looks great. Also, this bladed container it difficult to open. Too large for my hands- I have to get out a non-slip holder to open. I usually buy Cuisinart for all small appliances and will send this back, but will get one that opens more eaily. Hopefully, one with variable speed too.

This Smart Stick was a replacement for my previous Smart Stick (18+ yrs old). The chopper and blender attachments on the old one were not working. Once I got the new one, I discovered it's actually the attachments and not the power part. That worked just fine with all the new attachments. Such a versatile tool! I use it often. Highly recommend this!
