Love the edge guard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The edge guard is such a great feature to have around the sidewalks and landscaping. Keeps the fertilizer out of areas where it is not needed. Works great for a low end spreader. I would recommend this product, it works as advertised and I have not had any problems with it.

Easy clean up with quick water wash out. Love the ease of use and portability. Would highly recommend this precision quality product by Scott’s.

Quick and Easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is a learning curve for those who used the old style drop spreader. The easy picture instructions and fold down arms are nice features. I suggest watching the video for best use of the edge guard and application of lawn food. The first pass puts down the most material,as it gets to the last amounts of material it requires readjusting of the material to get a better product application.

Spreads fertilizer in a uniform manner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a smaller version of the Scotts Spreaders that I have used in the past. This is a nice size for smaller lawns. It broadcasts the fertilizer uniformly. The Edgeguard knob placement was a bit awkward as compared to the larger version, but is a nice feature. I would recommend this Mini Broadcast Spreader.

Compact and still has great features!

I like the edge gaurd feature . I have an older model spreader I still use that doesn't have edge gaurd. This one will replace it.

Not Good for Large Lawns

I have owned this spreader for a few years and the spreader assembly has already failed. It becomes clear that larger lawns (mine is 12,000 square feet) are too big for this spreader. Buyer beware!

Very good spreader

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked very well to reseed my lawn. Much quicker than using my Wiz. As with almost all products nowadays this is almost all plastic. Lets see how many growing seasons it will last. This spreader does get the job done.
