I use this often, but beware some fertilizer will get on the sidewalk regardless how careful you are. Sweep to avoid stains!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little spreader is awesome - it spreads the fertilizer smooth and evenly provided you can follow your own straight lines! It was also quite handy to spread a sand/salt mix on the drive during the winter months.

Terrible Design

The “thrower” is positioned below the top of the wheel height. This means fert is collecting in the wheels applying heaving in that area. Cannot use it at all.

Gave my old Scott's Classic drop spreader to my son and purchased a new one for myself. The spreader was fine with fertilizer and lime but locked up trying to drop seed.
