This spreader worked great. I have a vegetable garden and numerous flower beds in my yard - the EdgeGuard feature kept the fertilizer out of them with no problems.
Pros: Value, Quality, Easy to Use, Good Directions, Effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had one of these before and it was awesome but I left it outside in the rain and it got damaged over time. Now that I have a new one, I am protecting it like a million dollar jewel.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Quality, Value

Drive for Broadcaster Broke after few uses

I haven't used this spreader very many times (though more than 3) when the drive between the broadcaster and the "sweeper" in the bin broke. THis would be an easy fix if parts were available, but I can't find a source. A slightly more robust part would also prevent the problem.
Cons: poor quality construction
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cons: inferior plastic part

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this spreader. Lets you have good coverage in the lawn and keeps it off the sidewalk and the small plants you don't want covered. There is less laps around the yard. Great adjustable flow. Love the edgeguard attachment less clean up on sidewalk.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Value
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect for small yards!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice little spreader. It's mostly made of plastic so it won't rust or corrode. Handle folds down for easy storage and it has a trigger to release the product only when you want it to. The edge guard is adjustable and can be moved to either side and it has an easy to read setting dial. I couldn't find anything wrong with this unit except it's size...it is for small areas or small yards. I did not try to spread ice melt with it but looks like it would be good for that as well.
