Best little spreader I've ever used

This is a really simple, well built and easy to use spreader. I have a lawn of approximately 5000 sq.ft. and this spreader makes quick work of applying materials. The 'edge guard' is great- keeps product off of the sidewalks. The stop, start feature is very useful, especially when going from one area of the yard to another without spreading product in unwanted areas. And the fact that it comes already assembled saved me time to get going. Good product!

Edgeguard Mini Broadcast Spreader Did a Great Job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Edgeguard Mini Broadcast Spreader to apply Scotts Winterguard Fall Lawn Food. The spreader was easy to use and it did a great job of applying the Winterguard product. I will be sure to use the Edgeguard Mini Broadcast spreader again next spring.

Does the Job

This spreader does the job fairly well. Only complaint is that sometimes the spreader works its way back to edging mode if you hit a bump or two in the yard. Easy to use though and I'd buy another one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This spreader is an excellent choice for the homeowner. It does a great job of spreading fertilizer and grass seed (for over Seeding). I fill the hopper once for my backyard, then add a bit more for the sides and front. This spreader comes pre-assembled and ready to use out of the box. I highly recommend this to any homeowner who takes care of their lawn, you will not be disappointed.

Ergonomic, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This spreader is very well designed. It has just the right capacity for a 5000 sq ft bag, is noiseless, perfectly balanced, and the opening mechanism seems to be very precise. I also noticed, though not mentioned in the literature, that the handle can be easily selected for either left or right handed people. The only thing that in my view needs improvement, is to "hide" the wire for the opening mechanism, otherwise this spreader is a really nice piece of machinery and does a perfect job
