I really like the Edge Guard feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just used the unit for the first time. I live on a corner lot with a lot of narrow areas. The Edge Guard feature cut down on the amount of product wasted on my side walks. I just wish it had a larger product supply. I have a 7200 sf of lawn.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Quality
Cons: needs a larger font for the settings.

Changed my mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was ready to put down the fall application of Turf Builder Winterizer. The hopper in the pull-behind-my-lawn tractor AgriFab broadcast spreader was full when the differential gear housing shattered and I had to borrow my neighbor's Mini Broadcast spreader. Not only did it work better than the pull behind spreader I've been using for years but I finished the job faster than I ever have with the AgriFab.
My AgriFab spreader is still broken (my requests for customer service have gone unanswered) so come this spring I'll getting my own Edgeguard Spreader.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this spreader. Until you use a bigger pellet fertilizer and the spout will not close when you want it to, so your product keeps coming out when you turn
Pros: Easy to Use
Cons: Didn't work as expected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not like having to fertilize my yard because it can be quite cumbersome. Since using the Scotts® Turf Builder® EdgeGuard® Mini the time it takes is cut in half and I know that all the grass has been fertilized.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Broadcast Spreader

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have not been able to use this spreader as the landscaping season is done till the spring. I have another Scott's spreader which is very similar that I have used for almost 10 years and has been very dependable. The new spreader looks to be almost the same. The only difference is the spinner in the hopper. The other feature this spreader has is a edge guard which will be beneficial in keeping lawn products off of the driveway and other landscaping that product is not intended.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Quality, Value

This was used three times and worked well. It was stored in my garage. I pulled it out to use today and the bottom had completely dry rotted. I have been a believer of Scott's products for many years, but not sure I will ever purchase another spreader that they offer.
Pros: Easy to Use
Cons: poor quality, did not last long, cheap components
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
