Turf Guard Mini Broadcaster works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Turf Guard Mini Broadcaster works great. It is easy for me to handle and holds the bag of Bonus S weed and Feed for up to 5,000 sq.ft. It dispenses the product with ease. I have used mine several times and would recommend it.

Dial seems inaccurate

My lawn is slightly larger than 5,000 sq. ft so I should have used an entire bag Turf Builder and had some lawn left over. I set the dial to 3, just as the bag said, and when I finished my lawn I had over half a bag left over. I knew I needed to use the whole bag, so I did it again going the other direction. Can we calibrate these like we could with the Speedy Greens? I can't rate this product very high if it can't dispense fertilizer accurately. That's really the only job it needs to do.

Cons: Didn't work as expected, inaccurate

Perfect For My Small Lawn and Small Garage

This spreader is perfect for my smaller yards, both front and back. The five foot spread pattern fits my need as my lawns are fairly narrow and long. The edge guard feature on the right seems to prevent overspreading into the gardens. Other features that I like are the ease of cleaning and the folding handle for easy storage.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Value

Bad product vey disappointed with this spreader

Used it twice, and the spreader mechanism just pulled from the bottom of the spreader, and stopped the spreader completely. There is no way to repair it at all. There must have been a pin that was never installed or it's just manufactured wrong. Frustrating, and disappointed. I would recommend that you find another spreader manufacturer.
Cons: Didn't work as expected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Mini Broadcast Spreader is almost as good as regular one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the maneuverability of this 'little' version of my really durable broadcast spreader. Larger spreader has an easier-to-use Edge Guard lever, and with fence lines and sidewalks all over my small property, it is quicker to go from regular spreading to edged. Other than that, typical high quality and great no-maintenance product from Scott's.

The lower frame tube broke just above the wheel. I've only used it about five times and have kept it in my garage. Low quality of frame material.
Pros: Easy to Use
Cons: quality of material poor
