I had the same problem a number of others had with going to your website (as directed ) to get proper setting for mini spreader. When there is no setting info on your website.

Yeah, nice spreader. Doesn’t spread top soil. I guess the soil is comprised of too many bigger pieces and the chute is too small, but for a product that’s supposed to spread any number of materials, this one falls short. Not super optimistic about my chances with seed after its performance so far and after reading the reviews. Thanks for another top quality, high priced Scott’s product that doesn’t work. Great job, guys. I mean, I assume you guys have some type of testing facility for products in development, so here’s a suggestion: the ones that don’t work go back to the drawing board, not the marketplace. Thanks for wasting my time and money.

We're sorry to read about your disappointment with Scotts Turf Builder EdgeGuard Mini Spreader and appreciate your feedback. We do not recommend applying soil with any of our spreaders. Soil is too heavy and will likely damage the spreader.

Has Scott's developed (nad added to the website) an Application Table for conversion from Fertilizer lbs. per 1,000 square feet to the 'dial setting' to be used for the Turf Builder Edgeguard Mini?

This product works really great.

I purchased this product for the last 15 years and it has worked wonders for my lawn. Then I use Grubx once a year or more often if there are signs of grubs in late summer. I usually get a disease midsummer and red dust also. I have tried a disease control but it doesn’t always seem to help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the Scotts Turf Builder Edgeguard mini broadcast spreader is smaller than most spreaders and has an easy to use edge guard that helps from spreading products onto sidewalks or other unwanted areas. spread setting are very easy to use as well, I would definitely recommend this product.
