Great for Smaller Yards

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just moved into a smaller lot with more small detail coverage needed and this spreader worked with great detail and accuracy. The ability to save product around the pool and non grassy area is a huge cost saver.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love the fact this spreader folds up. I do not have to use so much room to store and the handle won’t get messed up.
Now talk about easy to use! Walks easily thru grass and adjustable spread is a delight.
This is a promo for me but can honestly say if I ever wear it out, I would definitely purchase one to replace it. Worth every penny.

Great spreader!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got a hold of the Scotts Mini Broadcast Spreader, and to my surprise this unit does the job my old fertilizer drop spreader does, in a fraction of the time. The settings dial is a no-brainer, a quick turn of the dial to the recommended setting of 4 1/2 and went to work. The word “work” is an overstatement, the spread being around six feet, I was able to cover my 2,000 sq.ft. backyard in less than ten minutes. From loading the hopper to setting the dial to complete lawn fertilizer spread was less than fifteen minutes! The best thing I like about my new spreader is that it is compact. With a few turns of the handle’s wing nuts I am able to collapse the unit into a manageable size that takes up very little room in the corner of the garage. very satisfied with my mini spreader!

Streamline and easy

EASY FEEDING

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just used my spreader for the first time. wow what a breeze feeding my lawn with this life saver. in the past I would spread with my hand only getting handfuls in spots and very little in other spots. with the scotts broadcast spreader the name says it all, broadcast, you just pour your weed and feed in and set and go, its speads evenly and you just follow you path, and done quick and simple, I just love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just used this spreader over the weekend to apply fertilizer to front and back lawns. Very easy to use. I like the Edgeguard feature because it applies fertilizer to the grass in the front and the left side and avoids spreading to patios or flower gardens. Also, the spreader coverage is quite nice and wide so needed less trips to cover the lawn. Great product and highly recommend. Finally, small enough to easily store when not using.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes it's the little things that make the difference. I bought my last Scotts spreader at least 10 years ago. It works fine and I have never had any issues with it. This new model has two main improvements over the older one. First, the dial to set the amount of product that comes out is larger and easier to set. The last one seemed more like an approximation. Now, I feel like I am "clicked" in to a setting. The second improvement is the curb guard. As someone that has already stained not only my own side walk but that of my neighbor, any and all help in keeping the product where it should be is a welcome improvement.
