Sturdy and Easy to Set Up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a small yard so the mini spreader is perfect! The spreader has very sturdy construction and it was really easy to set up - only took a minute to attach the wheels and handle. I really like that I can take the handles off easily and stick it on a shelf. Simple flow control - all you need!

When should the four applications be applied?

IIthink the product package was great however there was no explanation as to when the four applications should be applied here in North Carolina. Please let me know when the four application should be applied. Thank you.

Defective product

This spreader drops fertilizer even when lever isn't pulled. Scotts knows this and regularly sends out parts that owner needs to install. They should redesign this spreader because they get so many 1 star reviews.

Works Great

The mini spreader is great! My lawn looks amazing and it is so much easier to use than the large one for me. I am 5 foot so much easier. The edge guard feature comes in handy when spreading any kind of weed killer, keeping it out of flower beds and off sidewalks. For the money, this a good, reliable spreader.

Perfect Addition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Edgeguard Mini Broadcast Spreader is a super addition to my lawn maintenance effort. I now use far less product due to the fact that the "Edgeguard" feature prevents/blocks/eliminates treating the sidewalk or the driveway. It works great !

Love this spreader!

I have been using my Scotts classic drop spreader for almost 10 years and it is still in great shape. I love it because it is so easy to use. I wash my spreader after every use and have not had a problem with clogging but I think there is too much slack in the line so the drop rate is not accurate.
