[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t believe how easy this is to use. They take all the guess work out of the spreading. It took less then one minute to assemble it from the box. I have only used this for turf builder, but I’m sure it will work for salt as swell. Great proud.

Absolute garbage!

Spreader is entirely made of cheap plastic. Edgeguard broke and cannot reconnect. And similar with many other reviews, LEAVES STREAKS IN YOUR USED TO BE BEAUTIFUL LAWN!!! About a 3-4 foot wide section of light green grass and a 6 inch section of nice dark green. I've tried multiple different ways trying to adjust my overlap - more overlap, less overlap - same results every time! Only good thing is that I've been alternating my pattern I apply fertilizer so now I have stripes in every which direction which now looks like I have a very patchy, but ok lawn instead of my beautiful dark green. This spreader alone has ruined my lawn for this season. Throwing it away and buying a DIFFERENT BRAND spreader and fertilizer for next year.

Clogs easily

I've had this for a few years now. Some Scott's products are fine pieces, require damp grass and during the summer you need to have grass taller. The product clogs becuase the bottom becomes wet. The spreader needs larger wheels to have it up higher from the grass. I have to poke the holes open with a stick quite often.

Sturdy and Easy to Set Up

The spreader has very sturdy construction and it was really easy to set up - only took a minute to attach the wheels and handle. I really like that I can take the handles off easily and stick it on a shelf. Simple flow control - all you need!

Great Spreader great Product

I’ve been using the spreader for two years and it works great once in a while overdo it and get spots, but that’s on my own fault but otherwise it works wonderful great spreader spread even, Once you get used to it gets easier and easier every time you use it

Not a good experience.

One wheel for engaging spindle. No traction on slick plastic wheels make for not engaging spindle. Gate that opens to let product out constantly sticks, even when clean and dry. Plastic around wingnut that holds handle stripped and broke off even though I had not even applied enough force to hold the handle straight.
