Excellent product at an excellent price. My only thoughts on this
is the packaging of the fertilizer is unclear about the settings on
the spreader provided. However I did work it out to set the spreader
at 3.5 and it worked out fine. My yard is always the showplace on
the street.

It works but still leaves streaks on my yard. Seems simple to use but would look for a better alternative

Narrow, light green or yellowish streaks may be due to not properly overlapping. Dark green streaks can indicate too much overlap. Not exactly a cheap product that leaves stripes in our lawn. Definitely a spreader deficiency that you would think Scott’s would want to fix.

Terrible. Leaves stripes on lawn / uneven spread

Leaves Stripes on my lawn, this is my third Scott’s spreader in 20 years and likely my last. 1st spreader lasted 10+ years, second close to that. This one? I might just smash it so it can’t hurt anyone’s yard again.

Not a good spreader

No way to calibrate the spreader apparently. When I set it on the recommended number setting from Scott's the product is way over applied. I did the 1000 square feet calibration but that still leaves me guessing. Loved my old metal Scott's spreader that lasted decades but this one is not good.

Axle is easy to rust and wheels fail to rotate to drive the agitator.
