I wish I knew that when I bought the four step product that I was not able to put seed down with this product so I am going to not use step one right off the bat because it says you cannot see it with this product

You're right, timing is everything with this product. If you're seeding or laying sod, hold off on applying it until your new grass has been mowed four times. If you're planning to seed, lay sod, or plant sprigs after using the product, wait four months before seeding or laying sod, and five months before planting sprigs.
