If it was in the description, I missed it. I have always purchached the smaller bags of Scott's fertilizer and it was the perfect size for our yard. These bags were smaller yet and would not give full coverage. So I gave it away to my sister and will have to buy the next size up. So it was a complete waste of money for me. My sister, on the other hand, is very happy and I'm sure she would give you five stars.

We're sorry to hear the Turf Builder with Halts did not control the weeds as expected. This product will not control any existing weeds. It will prevent listed grassy and broadleaf weeds. For best results, this should be applied to a dry lawn and watered in after application.

If you do just one thing for your lawn, fertilize

I am not a fanatic when it comes to laws, but the one thing I do every year is fertilze four times a year, early spring, late spring, summer and fall, and my lawn looks very good to me. Compared to some of my neighbors who don't fertilze, my lawn looks great. The drop spreader included with the fertilizer was nicer than the one I had.
