I put down the turf builder today and was a little disappointed it looked like the bag had been around for a while and the fertilizer had quite a few chunks in it I had to use a hammer to break it up

I have tried several other brands of turf fertilizer. It's a bit of a hit and mis if they work or not. I had been wanting to try a full set of Turf Builder for a while now. But when Scotts added in the walk behind spreader, I couldn't say no.

The first bag that I opened consisted of solid balls whch I had to try and hammer out. The smaller solids kept getting stuck in the spreader. This was the first time I ordered seed through the mail and just didnt seem as if it had the same consistency as if I had purchased from the store. I will continue to purchase seed from the store in the future.
