Poor Quality

I purchased this spreader a week ago.I was going to spread Tall Fesque grass seed
but the seed jammed up the spreader and it wouldn't move.This spreader doesn't
come close to the old metal drop spreader.Save your money and buy a different brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This spreader was very easy to set up for use. I just love the compact design on this. It is perfect when you just have an average size front and back yard to seed and fertilize. I found it to have even distribution and the edge guard really helps around gardens where you don't want the seed to go. The compact design also makes it easy to store when you do not have a huge shed to keep it in. Overall I think it is a keeper.

Excellent spreader

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This just made my life easier. Just bought a new house on a 1/3rd acre of grass it held a whole bag of weed and feed and cut my time in half with using this spreader versus my hand spreader. Fast and easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HAD ALWAYS USED A DROP SPREADER. THE NEW EDGEGUARD IS SUPER. YOU CAME SEE THE FERTILIZER BRING SPREAD WITH 2 SETTING. ITS GETS THE JOB DOWN FASTER THAN A DROP SPREADER.WILL NEVER RETURN TO A DROP SPREADER.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent spreader, the edge guard feature is really nice, it keeps products off of delicate plants and flowers. Even and equal coverage, Love This Spreader! I had been using an off brand spreader that is not even close to being this nice!

Edgeguard is GREAT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always had a Scotts spreader, but I had never had the edge guard. I was missing out! I border a lot of sidewalk space and the edge saver was great to help keep my fertilizer off the cement. This spreader rolls smooth and even distributes the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't believe that I've been using my old metal "drop style" Scotts spreader as long as I have. It was my father's spreader 20 years ago! I finally broke down and got the new Edgeguard spreader. It's fast, clean, and folds away into a corner of my shed when not in use. Fertilizing is no longer a 45 minute chore. I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used the hand held spreader for years, we are older and this is just terrific easy to put together and use, it spreads so easily and the wheels allow for easy maneuvering and getting into all the curved areas of our yard. We love it!
