Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to put together, easy to use, and lightweight. It throws/tosses grass sending/feed out easily in rows and you can tell where it ended and you left off. I really like this brand and definitely recommend this brand and product.

Excellent Spreader

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely pleased with this Spreader. Upon unboxing the first thing I noticed was the excellent quality. Materials are very sturdy and durable. I was able to easily assemble withing a couple of minutes it was complete. Spreading seeds and fertilizer has become very easy and fun to do. This Spreader is really maneuverable. It does not get stuck and it performs great as expected. I absolutely recommend it. It's a life changer.

small and mighty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Small but mighty. The first time I used this spreader I used Scotts fertilizer and it worked great. Then I tried some other older fertilizer that I think was a little damp and the results was not the same. It looked as though the fertilizer was coming out in such a small amount I had to go over the lawn twice. I used the broadcaster again two months later and it worked great. Maybe it was me the first time. This broadcaster works great and that edge guard is something I needed. It worked great and I didn't have to sweep the fertilizer off of the driveway after I finished. The fertilizer went exactly where I wanted it to go. I thought that my old broadcaster distributed the fertilizer too heavy for the setting and now I am sure of it. This broadcaster works great and I highly recommend it.

Efficient & worthwhile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for two + years. It works well but is somewhat fragile & light weight. The wheels are this & sometimes skip. The edgeguard is efficient and works well along sidewalks and curbs.

Works well for small yards.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was easy to put together and lightweight. It spreads fairly well and I like the sideguard. The height is ok for me when it comes to pushing it. We have a medium yard so it is working well for us and fits easily in our space. we used it to spread seed and fertilizer on the lawn. It is good for small yards.

Great for applying granular insect killer too

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn’t be happier with my new Scotts Turf Builder EdgeGuard Mini Broadcast Spreader. It was very easy to put together right out of the box even without having to refer to the instructions. This spreader can be used to apply a variety of lawn products. In my case, I used my spreader to apply a granular insect killer (including fire ants) to my yard. Depending on the spreader setting I use, I can go 3 or as much as 6 months between applications. I felt better using my new spreader rather than trying to apply the proper amount by hand. Thank you for making such a dependable product.

Ease of use and lightweight!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembling this spreader was easy! I love the compact size and the ease of use. The Edgeguard is convenient and keeps the fertilizer on the grass and not on my concrete. This results in less cleanup. Tires are a good size and easy to maneuver.

I felt confident that the fertilizer that I was spreading were getting distributed evenly but not too much. I liked the size of this since it wasn’t too heavy and was able to push it comfortably.
