Handy Compact Spreader

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts Turf Builder EdgeGuard Mini Broadcast Spreader is great for people with smaller yards, or tight landscaping areas.
It was really easy to assemble, in about five minutes, and is ready to use immediately after.
The settings allow me to accurately set it for the preferred application.
I use it to spread grass seed, fertilizer, and weed and feed. It holds up to 5,000 sq. ft. of product.
The Edgeguard feature blocks off the right-side of the spreader pattern, which gives me better control near plant beddings, and areas where I don't wish to apply the product. It helps me to not over apply the product, and that also controls wastefulness and loss of product. I find that veto important, especially when applying fertilizer, because in the past, I had noticed burn spots in my lawn due to too much product being applied in those areas.
This lawn spreader dispenses smoothly, and spreads evenly.
I like that the smaller size, and folding handle make it easy to store without taking up a lot of space.

Great for a yard

Awesome Seed Spreader

Spreader works well with seeds and fertilizer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spreads product well. We used to spread seed and fertilizer on a patch that was torn up when we put our concrete in. Spreader did it’s job and now we have lots of little grass longs popping up. See picture for grass growth!

Decent DIY Spreader

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Scott miniguard spreader is a decent spreader for homeowners and the DIY person. The miniguard is ideal for lawns under 2000 square feet, and perfect for the smaller postage stamp lawns.

I would like to see a company like Scott’s offer the same type miniguard spreader with pneumatic tires. The pneumatic tires make a huge difference.
