Sturdy, compact spreader

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the compact size of this spreader, and the ease of dialing in the correct spread rate. For a small California lot it is the ideal size and does not overspread into flower beds or the street. It is sturdy and I expect it to last a long time

Another Scotts quality apparatus

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The thing I like about this spreader is because among other things it dispenses any kinds of lawn products such as fertilizers or seeds and can hold up to 5000 sq. as advertised. The spreader setting has different levels of density that is needed for any product you’re applying. The edgeguard feature allows product to be blocked off to prevent it from landing in unwanted areas which is very helpful. Also the big wheels roll smoothly on the ground. The material looks like durable, resistant and overall very high quality.

Great Spreader

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a relatively small yard and have used a hand held whirlybird spreader for years, with great satisfaction. I don't know why I didn't upgrade to the EdgeGuard mini broadcast spreader earlier, but I'm sure happy that I have one now. It's so much more efficient, and I'm confident that the appropriate amount of fertilizer is being distributed on my lawn, now.

I love that it spreads evenly and works smoothly. It shortens my “work” time so I can enjoy more “gardening” time!

You do have to assemble it a bit, bit it doea not take long at all; just a few bolts, etc., and youre ready to go! Its easy to maneuver and rather lightweight! Adjust to the proper setting and your ready to go! Holds up to 5,000sq/ft of feed/seed, which is insane!

When all that you have is a hand held spreader for all your life and finally get an actual spreader??? There aren't enough words to describe the convenience of having this spreader.
