Best spreader for a smaller yard...

The dial is very accurate and allows whatever you are applying to come out where you want it and in the correct amount.

how to know the right setting

The mini is a good product and easily handles my 5K square foot yard. However, the Scotts packages NEVER list the mini as a spreader under their spreader settings. And it is hard to find elsewhere. Do you just use the regular broadcast spreader setting? Who knows?

Excellent for treating your lawn

I pleased with the edge guard that I was getting the treatment on my lawn and not my driveway.

Great Little Spreader

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this product used it on strip of grass between road and sidewalk where a regular spreader is too wide for area just the right size. Also loved the guard feature that allows you to stop the material from shooting into the street and wasting it.

Miracle grow spreader
