Scotts Edge Guard Mini Broadcast Spreader

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect broadcast spreader for small to medium yards. Large yards would not be a problem, although you would have to fill the hopper more often. Broadcast spreaders distribute the product much more evenly than drop spreaders. The Edge Guard feature is very nice. It allows you to put out fertilizer to one side. This is very useful when going along sidewalks or flower beds so that you aren't wasting the product on your sidewalk or possibly adding something you don't want (like weed control) to you flower beds. The spreader is heavy plastic, which is good; fertilizer is corrosive to metal. Cleanup is easy; wash it with a garden hose and let it dry. The spreader folds to a very compact size for storage. Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great spreader. I use it for my front lawn, which is a little bit smaller than my back lawn. It is well-made it does not seem like it was dry rot due to climate change. It is great for spreading seed or weed and feed or ant repellent. He gets the job done fast very easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The spreader was easy to assemble. Just unfold, tighten wing knobs, and pop on the two wheels. Then turn dial to desired setting, turn on or off the edge guard, and fill with fertilizer. Holds up to 5,000sq ft. Then when you’re ready to walk & spread fertilizer, just squeeze the handle to start & walk, or let go to stop spreading & continue walking.

Great for small yards

So easy to assemble, spreads easily

The assembly takes less than 5 minutes. The wheels are so easy to pop on too. Spreading seeds throughout the yard was a piece of cake. Good quality spreader that does a great job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotts Turf Builder Edgeguard Mini Spreader is an amazing product that I needed for my lawn. Everything in the box came well packaged and it only took a few minutes to assemble. The steps on how to use this is printed onto the spreader which is helpful. This spreader is used to dispense any kinds of lawn products such as fertilizers or seeds and can hold up to 5000 sq. as advertised. The spreader setting has different levels of density that is needed for any product you’re applying. The edgeguard feature allows product to be blocked off to prevent it from landing in unwanted areas which is very helpful. Also the big wheels roll smoothly on the ground. The material is durable, resistant and overall very high quality. Overall, i am very satisfied with this product and I would definitely recommend.

I am a beginner with gardening and trying it out on my front lawn and this has helped me be able to dispense seeds for my grass. It also allows me to weed my lawn and get rid of the riffraff. Very easy to use and holds so much product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The spreader works excellent with the edge guard to allows you to keep the fertilizer off the driveway and flower beds. The spread is just the right size for a smaller yard. It provides an even distribution of fertilizer to the lawn.
