Works great: settings impossible to find

Just like many of reviewer before me. Spreader works fine but locating the settings to know how much to put down if various products is impossible. FAIL.

I was set on buying a Scotts Turf Builder Mini Spreader tomorrow, but thought I'd see the spreading instructions first but couldn't find it on the site, so I decided to read the reviews and I've decided not to buy this spreader don't have the time for frustration when I'm trying to seed my lawn.

Easy and lightweight

I dont particularly have a small yard, just average, Id say. This spreader worked quickly and efficiently spreading Scotts weed and feed Turf Builder. I just followed the directions on the bag for 3 1/2 and it seemed to work fine. Just used today, so not sure if it spread enough to do the job, but having used this product many times before, it looked about right to me. People need to read the directions on the product package and not worry about what it says on the spreader. Every product is different(weed and feeds, grass seed, moss kill, etc.). Read the product packaging is your best bet. All in all very pleased with my purchase. Not just for small yards, but not for a football field either. I recommend to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this little feeder it light and easy to push really like it ☺️ and my kids can help me Feed the grass and they enjoy helping me in the Yard now I don't to worry about doing the yard now because my grand kids are enjoying doing it for me.

Terribly designed product that does not work.

This may be the most poorly designed product I have ever bought as it does not function. As numerous reviewers have commented, as soon as you add product to the feed chute, the mechanism basically becomes inoperative. So, I can't really evaluate the flimsy plastic or hollow wheels because it could not even function. Went back to a vintage Scotts broadcast spreader - which is not what I wanted to use - that I've had for year. What a change for the bad over the years!

AVOID - TWO STRIKES AND YOU ARE OUT!

I have now bought two of these, the second with a Scott’s refund on the first, and ended up with a striped lawn both times. Calibration or manufacturing tolerances (or both) must be off. AVOID.

Do not buy!!

I bought this a few weeks ago. The striping is on my lawn is horrible. I now have a checker board pattern throughout my yard.
