Easy to set up and use. Being able to adjust the spreading angle is a real plus.

Light weight, easy to push and the fertilizer comes out at a great rate. Really like the feature to turn on or off the edge guard feature, shrinking the size of the spray of the fertilizer when you are close to a sidewalk or flower bed.

Gives you better control to target areas without distributing fertilizer in the wrong area. Light weight makes it easy to push and it can hold a surprising amount of product

Works good and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have use these types of spreaders from Scotts before, works well enough for the job and the edge guard is a nice feature too. Only down side for me with these are the handle grip. I think it should be a dual pull handle for the discharge because using one hand and holding it for a long period of time i got some what hand fatigue.
But truly not a deal breaker.

Don't Buy!!!!!! If you want dark stripes and then yellow strips in between, be sure and buy this item. If not, buy something else. The Scott's name on a product does not mean it's good quality! After spending good money on their fertilizer, it was a waste of money to have a lawn that looks as bad as mine does.

Works as advertised!

I have used the edgeguard twice, both times, despite using the setting indicated on the bag, I have had at least 30% of the product left over when it should have been all gone. My yard is approximately 16,000 square feet and I had a 15,000 sq ft bag.
