-Pump wouldnt work and dispersed constantly or evenly.
-Pump would also squirt out extra after being released this making a mess or overfeeding the plants.
-no directions as to how frequently to feed succulents(not all are created equally
-first time using this and it managed to kill some of my strongest succs and some of my newbies.. succulents arent cheap so i was disappointed in their passing.
-easy to use but overall doesnt seem worth it for every succulent.

This product can cause damage if it is applied directly to plant foliage. We do not recommend a foliar feeding. The instructions state to apply to the soil or saucer under the pot and water as normal. Rinse any foam from foliage. It is also possible the product was not watered in immediately after the application. Water is what breaks down the foam and moves the nutrients to the roots.
An over-application can cause damage/death to the plants as well. Use 2 pumps for small pots. Use 5 pumps for pots over 6" in diameter.

Disappointed for The First Time

I recently purchased the 8 oz bottle of Succulent Food and for the first time was upset with a product from Miracle Gro. While the packaging is pretty there was no way the bottle contained 8 oz of the liquid food. I have 12 Succulent plants and there isn't enough to use on all of them one time. The contents were way less than 8 oz. I don't think there is even 2 oz.
Cons: Didn't work as expected
Pros: Good Directions, Easy to Use

No mixing easy application

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not used a succulent plant food before I received this product to try. This Miracle-Gro product is so easy to use. You do not have to mix it with water unless you want, to make up a quart of solution.
I used as directed two pumps onto the soil. I then watered my Hoya and Easter cactus. The directions do not say if you should water and that is my only issues with the product label. I would like to have seen an attached multi page label (as you see on some products) with additional information on usage on various succulents.
Pros: Easy to Use
Cons: Problem with label

Great easy to use cactus food!

I bought this food about a year and a half ago when I got a Christmas Cactus. It has helped the plant continue to grow and thrive. It was a great value and the bottle will last for many feedings. I will continue to use Miracle-Gro Liquid Cactus Plant Food!

Miracle-Grow Liquid Cactus food (7356100054) was a great product. It was easy to use and worked. It appears that this great product was discontinued and replaced with Succulent Plant Food (foam) (7356100531). There are numerous sizes of pots. The new product instructions only address 2 sizes of pots. No information is provided on how much of the foam/solution should be used per volume of water which is a more effective method of watering when you have many plants. The pumper pumps out inconsistent volumes of the foam making it possible to harm plants. This product is not suitable for small pot sizes or plants that fill most of the pot.
Cons: Didn't work as expected, Difficult to use, unacceptable instructions
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Succulent Plant Food

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently tried this product. Succulents are sturdy, sun loving plants. They do bloom if treated well! This plant food is easy to use and I have followed directions on the correct way to apply. Time will tell how much success I have. But I would put money betting that the Scotts brand won't let me or the succulents down!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Miracle Grow Succulent Plant Food is designed to fertilize cacti and succulents. I reside in the desert area and we have a lot of cactus and potted succulents. I was excited to try out this product.
The container is a little different and I couldn't quite get it to work properly at first (the spout wouldn't push down), but once it did start it is easy to dispense. A lot of other reviewers have mentioned this product being a foam--it does not dispense as a foam (although from the container I expected it to). It dispenses as a liquid, like a squirt. You are to squirt it on the soil near the plant and then water the plant to disperse the fertilizer.
So far this product seems to be working well for my cacti and succulents The plants are doing well as we head into our summer season. This is an easy way to fertilize, with no scooping or measuring. I recommend the Miracle Grow Succulent Plant Food for your cacti and succulents!
