Wheel Design Needs Reworked

The Edge Guard DLX does a great job spreading product. However, the inside of each wheel being open, a lot of the product ends up inside the wheels, and thus wasted. Closing up those slots would be a great way to be sure everything in the bag ends up on the lawn where it belongs
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Directions
Cons: Messy, wasteful

Very easy to use with excellent controll on broadcasting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used other spreaders and had trouble with directing the flow of my product but with the "sidewalk " directional part on your speeder, that solved that problem. Also the amount of product dispensing was always a problem with other spreaders but not with yours. The plastic part in the bottom eliminates the rusting problems.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Quality

We're sorry to hear that you didn't get the coverage you expected. The Scotts Turf Builder Edgeguard DLX is factory calibrated. The design ensures that the flow rates will not change over time, even under severe use. Here are some tips to make sure you are getting the correct coverage: The spreader has a 5 foot swath and should have a 1 1/2 foot overlap to ensure even coverage. Make sure to turn the spreader on and off when make turns or stopping and to walk at a brisk pace of about 20 feet every 5 seconds. Have had this spreader for awhile now and use it regularly. Still going strong, spreads evenly, still handles very smooth and durable.

I have used Scotts Broadcast spreader many years. I wash it. I clean it. I make sure it is working great... so it lasts and lasts. NOW there is the Scotts Broadcast spreader with Edgeguard. What a breakthrough! It went from great to reeeaaaly grrrreat! It's the best.

makes job easier and quicker

Only problem os the little plastic pice which centers the spinner inder bucket broke...and it broke very easily. ..don't reallt know how it happened. But itstill works Just have to place it back center every time it slide out.
