[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had an Edgeguard Scotts spreader for several years now. It is so simple to use that it's rediculous. Set the dial as indicate on the back of the bag of (seed, fertilizer, weed and feed, Bug B Gone)...and go. The edgeguard is easy to adjust and direct the spread away from flower gardens, sidewalks, etc.... The hopper is durable plastic. Mine hasn't gotten brittle with age. Also I live in Florida and it has held up to the salt air and hasn't rusted. All in all this is a great all around very affordable spreader. Whenever it does wears out, am sure I'll buy another.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Value, Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my drop spreader with this one & the big difference is the DLX does not have an arrow on the side like the drop spreader so you can see where your row begins.
Cons: Didn't work as expected, Difficult to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We would like to apologize for your dissatisfaction with your new spreader! With the Edgeguard DLX spreader, you'll want to keep your passes roughly 5 feet apart. This will ensure that your product is thrown appropriately, thus avoiding streaks. If you have any additional questions, or would like to discuss our product guarantee, reach out to us! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works good but I don't like the hard plastic wheels. Popular brand name and most products that I purchase list the Scott's spreader setting for their product. This makes life easier. Easy to clean and it does fold for more compact storage. Overall I am satisfied.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective
Cons: plastic wheels

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This spreader is very affordable, and can sit outside season after season, as it is hanging on our fence. Pull it down, add fertilizer and it is ready to move. It is fast, and the fertilizer comes out as fast or slow you desire.
Pros: Easy to Use, Value, Quality
Cons: at the emptying of bucket hard to get out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a woman in my fifties, I bought this for my own use. Its easy to use and broadcasts over a big space so it makes it much easier for me. I have a large yard and this covers the space without me having to walk back and forth a million times.
