Poor Wheel Design

The wheel design allows the build-up of fertilizer in the hollow inward facing side of wheels. The build-up then dumps where and when you don't want it.
Pros: Value, Quality, Easy to Use, Good Directions, Effective
Cons: Messy, Didn't work as expected, poor wheel design

Great Spreader with great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This spreader works terrific and spreads the weed and feed evenly over my entire yard without any problems whatsoever. My old spreader from a different manufacturer always left too much weed and feed in some areas and burned my grass. The old one had a problem with the wheels not wanted to turn evenly too. This is the best spreader I have ever owned in my 30 years of using one.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Value, Quality, evenly spreads weed and feed

Thick Grass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used my spreader for the past 2 years. All in all pretty good considering I purchased out of season. Why not give a shot? I am always trying items that would facilitate yard chores. Overall ok. My con is the wheels are narrow and hollow. Aerodynamically, well not because of air but the grass itself is high and the blades are slowed while pushing. I changed the wheels to solid, much better. I think if the wheels were 3 to 5 inches wider it would move easier through all grasses. Our lawn is admired through our community and many times have been asked who is our service. My response Two Hand me and Scotts.CpR.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective
Cons: narrow wheels
