[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotts Broadcast Spreader is very easy to use and understand. There are clearly marked numbers so that even I can set it to spread fertilizer or turf builder. (Usually my husband does it.)
Pros: Easy to Use, clear markings

Great sturdy product

I had this product for over 4 years. I am very happy with the quality of it. I have treated it very bad but never stopped vorking. The settings are very precise and spreads the stuff evenly. It has a big enough basket so it is enough for a big lawn. The wheels are also big so its buttom won't hit the ground. The great thing is that comes with Scots service warranty. Even after a few years, a part breaks, Scots will gladly send you the replacement. Simply amazing.
Pros: Value, Quality, Easy to Use, Good Directions, Effective

I would recommend not only their equipment but all their supplies. What a ever it states on any of their products, you can go to the bank on it. In addition, if you have any questions, you can go on line or call direct for any and all needed information. I highly recommend the name Scotts, above and beyond.

A tad expensive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked really well spreading my turf builder. Sidewalk blocker did not work the greatest. A tad on the pricey side. All in all it did the job. However the Scotts turf builder did absolutely nothing for my lawn. Will use a different product with this spreader next time.

I discovered that my old Scotts drop spreader had a big crack in the hopper. So I went to the store and bought this spreader. This is a great spreader. It comes 95% pre-assembled. All you have to do is unfold the handle and tighten the screws. Very easy. The Edge Guard works great to keep the product off areas you don't want covered.

2nd season still going strong

Bought this last year and have used it about 9 times. Works well no issues. The edge guard is an excellent feature as I have damaged plants and shrubs in the past with weed&feed.
