Wheels too small for capacity, spring hard to hold for long time

Like the increased capacity and edge guard feature. Would not buy again because wheels are too small for this heavy capacity. When the spreader hits a dip on a less-than-smooth yard, it tends to tip and slow down, all while fertilizer is flowing. It is difficult to keep a consistent flow on uneven ground. Also, my old Scotts spreader had a lever at handlebar which would keep the handle for chute in "open" position so you didn't have to squeeze it the entire time. The EdgeGuard does not. My arms get cramped having to constantly hold the chute handle (spring is stiff). I'm a small female. Probably neither of these problems would affect a stronger person.
Pros: increased capacity nice; like edge guard feature
Cons: wheels too small for load, chute spring very stiff; no lever secure it open
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Edgeguard spreader because it puts the product I am using in the places I want it and in the amounts I need. It is easy to fill, easy to clean and doesn't take up storage space. Definitely a great deal for the price.

I have been looking for this edgerguard since last year I found some but those didn't have the value and they were too expensive, I think Scotts offers this product in a good price and great value.
Pros: Value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best thing is I have had this spreader for three years and it still works. Only use it 4 times a year on my lawn. In the past other spreaders have stopped moving due to rusted axels and gears. Best spreader I've ever owned.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Value, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its not worth the money, and scott has no part to repair it. The off/on switch broke and they said they are not replaceable the price of this item you would expect a well manufactured item that last more then one month.
Cons: Didn't work as expected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
