Good overall spreader for the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best spreader I've owned to date and has a lot of good features. The edgeguard is great for blocking the material from flower beds or the driveway. The spreader has an adjustment (NUMBER# corresponding to the directions on the fertilizer or seed #NUMBER) to spread the correct amount of material to get the best coverage. The hopper holds a large bag of fertilizer or seed and covers a lot of area. Overall this spreader works well and does the job it was designed to do.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Value, Quality

Versable enough for all of my lawn care needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Turf Builder Edgeguard spreader has proven to meet all of my lawn care needs. It small enough to store in my limited space garage, easy to set up, and break down for storage on a wall hook. The guard allows me to spread on the edges of my lot without wasting product on the street, sidewalks, or surrounding conservation area.
I highly recommend this product no only because of price, but also because of its versatility in use and storage.

If you have a large yard and are tired of having to stop spreading fertilizer in order to refill the spreader the Edge Guard DLX is for you. The 15,000 sq. ft. capacity lets you cover a lot of ground and the edge guard feature minimizes the amount of fertilizer that ends up on your sidewalks and driveway. Works great for fertilizing and I also use it for insect control. Highly recommended.

I think this was the 6th time I used this spreader since I purchased this home 18 months ago. The edgeguard just came apart. Would be willing to pay much more for something of better quality. Really can't put too much confidence in this product.
Pros: Easy to Use
Cons: Didn't work as expected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Truly the best spreader I have ever used for spreading fertilizer and insecticides. I highly recommend this product that gives great results!
