much better then a drop spreader. EdgeGuard is excellent. makes a nice property line especially in your neigbors are laszy dont take care of their lawn!!

Pros: Easy to Use, Good Directions, Value, Quality
Cons: easy to turn over when filled with fertilizer

Spreader does a good job but is missing a feature found on other spreaders of this type - a way to lock the level open when using for extended periods of times. Finally resorted to using a tie wrap to lock the lever in the open position.

Great for beginners

I just bought a house with a generous and well-maintained yard. After reading the reviews for this spreader, I went ahead and purchased one. It is extremely easy to set up and use. I followed the instructions on the fertilizer bag and set the spreader dial accordingly. I hosed down the spreader afterwards and left it in the sun to dry. Good quality!
