It Does Not Get Easier Than This.

The broadcast spreader with edgeguard is the best. You never have to worry about getting fertilizer on your plants and shrubs, or in your landscaping. When your done just hose it down with water, let it dry, and put it away. I use mine all season long for fertilizer, grubex, and over seeding. In the winter it works great for spreading ice melt on my driveway and sidewalks. I put the dial at 8 for ice melt. It evenly coats my driveway, and I save more time, and ice melt. it is a great money saver for all my Scott's products Spring through Fall.

Edge control is suerb

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The edge control works very well. There is no fertilizer or weed killer on the driveway, walkways, or flower beds. This was of great concern to me in the past but problem solved now.
Pros: Effective, well designed, accurate

Cheaply made from top to bottom

After one year the agitator (spinner) in the bucket broke off. It will not go back on and stay on so this is now a piece of garbage. Waste of hard earned money. Scotts do what's right and replace this unit for me. It should last longer than it did. The agitator should be made of metal and fastened securely so it doesn't come off. The wheels do not have an aggressive enough design so they slide on wet grass instead of turning.
Pros: Easy to Use
Cons: Didn't work as expected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product works really well. The quality is very good. The edge guard keeps you from getting the product all over the sidewalk or driveway. Your product doesn't drop out when you close it which is important. I have used it for several years and will continue to use it as it is very easy. I do recommend this product.
