Spreader will no longer spread

I have the broadcast spreader. The handle appears to work, but when I put the product in the spreader, nothing is dispensed.
Cons: Didn't work as expected

The spreader works exactly as advertised. The scotts products have specific instructions that match with the dial in the spreader. The only negative part I have found is that sometimes it leave a small amount of fertilizer at the bottom, so you need to shake it a little bit as you depress the releasing mechanism.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Directions, Effective
