Excellent product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used a lot of spreaders before this one but the Scott's is hands down the best. Easy to use, clean up is fast, and it continues to perform every time. Handle is just long enough so it doesn't make you bend over too much. Overall great product!

Edgeguard broke

I have had this product for a less than two years and the edgeguard trigger cable would not deploy after a year. I have to manually deploy it. Also the plastic wheel to control product flow sticks. Very frustrating !!!!
Cons: Difficult to use, quality of product, keep breaking
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works as advertised

This spreader works as good as any scotts' spreader I have ever owned. I especially like the edge guard, since last year half of my feed went to the sidewalks and drive way and I had to sweep it off. This year spreading was a breeze!
Pros: Value, Quality, Easy to Use, Good Directions, Effective, edge guard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being a new home owner, I've been learning on the fly of tending the lawn and flower beds. The Broadcast Spreader is the quickest and safest approach to put product down distributed evenly and over a wide range.

Fertilizes your yard just like the professionals!!

You're able to fertilize your lawn in a systematic way just as when your mowing your lawn and not having to do any touch up -- just load up the fertilizer, spread it and the results will follow!

Good for acre.
