Poor quality for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this last fall, used it then and again in April for crabgrass preventer. Each time I rinsed it off and hung it in my shed. Got it out yesterday and after 15 minutes the spinner/broadcaster part literally snapped lose. It is apparently not repairable. I had my last spreader for 20 years. I have a smooth lawn. No excuse for this from a name brand company . Very disappointed.
Cons: Didn't work as expected, poor quality . disposable product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheaply Made and a waste of money

Do no purchase this product. I used it approx. 20 times before it broke down.
Cons: Didn't work as expected

A big improvement over my old drop spreader!

Several weeks ago we replaced a 27 year old drop spreader with this new one and we're very happy with it. It's lighter and easier to use, and I don't need to worry about overlapping the application and getting stripes in the lawn. Because it's a rotary spreader, application was easier and much faster, and I got good results. This spreader is a keeper!
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective

I've had this spreader for 5yrs and have had no problems with it. It's easy to use and adjusts easy. It would be nice if it had a cover over the opening so if it was sprinkling nothing gets wet inside. I would recommend this.

I love my spreader

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to use a drop spreader but have since changed to a broadcast spreader. First off, my Edge Guard Broadcast Spreader is a great addition to my "yard tools" and helps me to save time while doing my yard work. My lawn has never looked better with this spreader and I don't have the lines on my lawn where the fertilizer begins and ends. Love this spreader and highly recommend it.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Value, Quality
Cons: no cons at all. good product that i highly recomme

This is a good Spreader

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this when I moved into our new home and started using it to establish a new lawn. I like the Edgeguard since we have many flower beds and it does help keep weed and feed from doing damage to the sensitive plants in the beds! It is easy to use and clean after each use.
