Small Version is Plenty Big

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the small version of this spreader and it is both compact for storage and holds enough to handle my whole lawn. The edge guard is a cool feature and works great.

Poor Quality and Poor Performance

I am on my 5th spreader in 6 years. Everything time the plastic part in the spreader bucket that spins wears out and then locks everything up and strips out the other parts. The plastic parts are of poor quality and will not last more than a year.
Pros: Easy to Use
Cons: poor quality, plastic parts, poor construction
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Clogs very easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never had this problem with previous Scotts spreaders that I have owned but this model for some reason clogs very easily. Very frustrating - especially as it is not an inexpensive spreader!
Cons: Didn't work as expected, Difficult to use

Durable and easy product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can not even remember how long I have had this product. Since everything is plastic the fertilizer does not make it rust. The dial is easy to determine the amount of fertilizer to apply on the lawn
