[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The spreader was very easy to use. With the edge lever, I didn't have to worry about getting fertilizer all over the sidewalk and driveway. I'm glad they thought of this design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the edge guard, before buying this spreader I wasted quite a bit of fertilizer, etc. When going near the edges of my lawn I never seemed to gauge it correctly and a lot of my fertilizer, etc., would go into flower beds, on the street, my neighbors property, this takes care of this, makes my life easier!.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Value, Quality

They keep breaking

Why do Scott spreaders keep breaking? I purchased a more expensive model last year at Home Depot thinking that would stop the breakage. This is the second Scott spreader I have purchased. The other one broke into in the same place.
How does this product rate 4stars?
Cons: Didn't work as expected, breaks at the bottom, can not be repaired

the spreader selection wheel is too loose and not sure it is accurate. Spreader works ok but I do not know if I am spreading the right amount.
Pros: Easy to Use
Cons: Didn't work as expected
