Purchased new DLX spreader and Scotts Weed & Feed – 1) the settings listed on the bag are not even close to producing specified coverage 2) Using fresh, dry, fine Scotts W&Feed the spreader works fine for 10’ – 20’ then product discharge drops to trace amounts. Bounce or shake and it’s good for another 10’ – 20’. Distribution parts tight and appear to function properly with no slippage when empty.

Best spreader I have ever owned. Just used it today to apply Scott’s weed and feed to my 1 acre lawn. Worked perfectly and was finished sooner than I expected.

I bought this model last September and now the control to adjust the hole opening and I see no way to repair it

Do not waste your money

What a piece of junk ! The spreader clogs CONSTANTLY . The one I purchased does not broadcast out of the right side, it only drops down on the wheel. Give me a good old fashion drop spreader any day. Unfortunately you cannot find a Scott's drop spreader this year.
