One of your better products for beginners

Like an extra set of eyes on my plants

The Moisture Control soil allows me to not worry about my plants anymore. I can leave for a few days, and know I don't need someone to come by and help me out now. Even with this crazy hot summer, my plants looked great.
My mom loved not having to go out on the hottest of days, as the planter boxes rarely needed supplemental watering to the rain they received. The boxes were always blooming.
I would put some home-made compost as a top dressing to take care of most nutrient needs.

very nourishing for the plants

This is the best product for my hanging plants. I make 5 hanging on my porch every year, the flowers look beautiful all summer. The humming birds love the red ones I put close to the feeder and switch back and forth from the wonderful flower to the feeder

The Best Soil

I absolutely love this soil for my containers! I will not use any other soil for all of my containers & I have A LOT of them! My plants grow great with it!

Good for outdoor container gardens

I used this last year for my plants and it was great for the ones outside. However, because this contains moisture, I had problems with mold in the soil with my plants indoors.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Directions, Effective
Cons: Messy, gets moldly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am responsible for all the flowers, landscaping and pots at our local country club. This year we used only Miracle-Gro® Moisture Control® Potting Mix in our pots around the country club. We knew with the 6 month feeding and moisture control to help with over and under watering problems that we would be protected even when we couldn't always be there to baby our planters filled with our beautiful flowers. We have had nothing but rave reviews on every pot that we planted this year because they are flourishing and growing so beautifully. Thank you Miracle Grow, for another great product! Sticks and weeds

This is not the Miracle Grow premium peat mix that I have used in years past, all purchased at Costco. The product has a lot of sticks and roughage, gets crusty on top and doesn't seem to hold the water very well at all. Now I've got weeds popping up by the hundreds in the pots. I'll never use this stuff again
Cons: Didn't work as expected, has weed seeds
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
