Pest infested.

Every time I purchase Mircle Gro potting mix, or soil it contains small cotton like bugs, and full of gnats and small yellowish eggs of some kind. After a while these bugs multiply and kill off my plants.
Pros: Easy to Use
Cons: bug infested.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While we do not sterilize the soil it is composted to kill any harmful insects and microbes. Unfortunately, soils may become infested with insects while in storage or while they are waiting for sale. The small beads you are seeing in your Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix are not insect eggs. Many consumers do confuse these beads with insect eggs. These small tan, yellow, green or clear colored fertilizer particles absorb moisture allowing the liquid fertilizer inside to pass out of the prill and into the soil.

Unhappy Plant

I received a plant as a gift from a florist shop which was planted in a pot way too small for the poor thing. I replanted the plant into a much larger pot and of course used Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix. My plant is now very happy and thriving.

I absolutely love this potting soil! As a newcomer to gardening, I used it for the first time last Spring & Summer and am highly impressed by the huge blooms & greenery I achieved as a result!

Makes my life easier

I have 5 hanging pots on my porch which I start with small plants from the local nursery. The petunia and the double impatient have sucomment to time. I still have 3 new guina impatient that look so lovely and full I may have to bring them in the house when the weather gets too cold. The product is so easy to use and has minimized my watering. We had a extremely hot summer
here in Cleveland, OH and thanks to your potting soil my trips were much less which is great for me for I have MS and heat and walking are a favorite. Thanks so much for a great product

Strawberries gone wild!

I thought I'd try this soil for my strawberries. Well, The difference is amazing! Within a month, my plant has taken over my very large back patio. Instead of one plant, I now have over 30 bushy, very green, fluffy plants running amok with runners running everywhere! lol

Cons: high in price
