POOR Quality control

Opened the 2 cu ft. bag to start using, got 1/3 of the way down when I hit a 10 inch piece of wood with a nail in it. NOT HAPPY since my hand way always going in the bag! Whats going on? How could something that big pass inspection? Very dissapointed with your product this year!

Plants dying

My plants have yellow leaves and are dying after just 3 days. Will have to repot all of my plants again.
Cons: Didn't work as expected

After some horrible results from a different brand of potting soil, I now only use Miracle Gro. I noticed a lot of reviews complaining about the fungus gnats. I agree that the soil is almost always infested with fungus gnats. It doesn't make a difference outside but it is a huge problem for indoor plants and growing seedlings. I want to share a tip with you that has worked for me. I buy an extra bag of potting soil for inside use. I put the unopened bag in the hot sun for weeks. I put it somewhere that isn't in contact with the ground - like a patio. I put mine on my potting bench so it really stays clear of other bugs. A few weeks in the sun and then I dump it into a plastic tote box with a lid and put it in my basement. I haven't had any gnats since doing this. Hope it helps you too!

My saplings died :(

I transplanted four tomato saplings and they died within a day.. Horrible potting mix

Excellent for all of my potted plant needs!

I buy this every spring when I am potting plants. I use it in large pots that remain in my yard as well as smaller pots for herbs and even veggies, that remain on my deck. The fact that I can get one product to meet my needs is what really makes me happy, especially since the soil is easy to work with and maintains its quality over time. I have tried other brands, but I always end up coming back to Miracle-Gro.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quality, Effective

This is the only potty soil that I buy. Never had any issue with things others are saying. It is supposed to keep your pots moist. If the plants are being over watered, it's not the products fault. It is the consumers. It is designed to make sure the plants do not dry out.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quality, Value, Effective

Terrible soil that’s killing my flowers

This Moisture Control soil seems compacted, not the least bit airy, and has some fungus or mold growing on it. Impatiens are so easy to grow, but this soil is killing all the flowers that I count on to add color to our home’s exterior after a long, grey, winter. It’s hard to believe a bagged soil can be so awful, but this is worse than if I had just dug up dirt somewhere.

Moisture Control My Butt

I bought two 1ft bags of this soil. Everything I've planted in it has mold growing over the top of it, even the plants that I did not water upon placing in the soil. I have never had such an issue with soil, and if all of my plants die because of this, I'm going to be LIVID.
Cons: Didn't work as expected, Bad Odor
