Product is great for maintaining geraniums summer and winter

I keep geraniums all year round. During spring/early summer, I use the moisture control potting mix for my 15 geraniums. They thrive and blossum beautifully. Come late fall, I repot all the geraniums using the potting mix prior to bringing them indoors. All survive the winter here in New England in front of a slider window.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Effective

This product seems to be very well designed and my banana tree seems to be doing ok so far. But if you are to have a banana tree, you need to put some cactus soil in also
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Value, Quality, well designed
Cons: might need to add another soil

Tried this in my flower containers & worked as stated,helped me to water less & was nice because some evenings was just to hot to go out.Then decided would use to plant tomatoes & few other veggies & was amazed at how did not have to water them as much as my husband did who did not use the potting mix.
So think have changed his view on the Moisture Control & pretty sure he'll be using it in his garden.Just wish was cheaper or could find on sale more as do believe this is a product would like to use for all plants & veggies.

We used this product for all our out door planting in soil and pots

We bought a large bag of this product and used it in all our outdoor planting. We had ferns in ground and flowers in pots. We also used it for our in ground day lilies

It has to be a great product because our flowers reflect it. Only thing I had to learn was do not over water.

Gnats in potting soil

I have used MG moisture control for a long time and never had a problem. This past spring I repotted nine 24" indoor tree pots and all my smaller indoor pots (15) since they were growing so well with your soil. I am not sure if it was because I bought the big bags this time or what, but I now have been trying to exterminate these gnats from my newly built dream home with no luck since spring. I have tried mixing in peroxide with the water. I have tried water with soap and red wine to catch adults. I have tried fly strips. I have tried not watering until my plants start drooping, and now I have bought perilite and put an inch or more over the soil to try and kill them off for the past month. I think there are less but they are still all over. My last thought is to cover the dirt all around the plants with plastic wrap to try and kill them off but I don't want them looking awful for friends and family to see at Christmas. This is very embarrassing for me when we have company. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me how I can get rid of these things!!!!!!! This issue is changing the way I feel about the product. I hate to have to repot all of my plants to get rid of this problem. Please let me know what I can do. I am running out of ideas. I realize they are not a huge harm to my plants but they are a disgusting result from using your product in my home . I have never had an issue with these gnats in your product until this past year. Something has had to of changed.

We recommend using a 1/2 inch of sand around the top of each pot, to control fungus gants. Newly hatched gnats can not burrow through the sand, which will stop the breeding process. If you would rather spray your plants, we recommend the Ortho Tree & Shrub Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate. It can be used on houseplants to kill fungus gnats. Greatest product ever!

I have always used some form of Miracle-Gro through out the years, but this moisture control potting mix is the best! I have a large planter in my garden which I filled with water bottles to save on the soil and then added the moisture control potting mix. You should see my flowers that I planted in that planter. The spike in the center is at least 3 feet tall! And the petunias are really the best. I would recommend this product to anyone who loves to garden and wants to grow beautiful plants.
