Great Results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first year I've tried growing my tomatoes and peppers in containers. I used the Miracle Grow Moisture Control soil. The tomato plants are almost as tall as I am and loaded with tomatoes. The same is true for the peppers. I will definitely use this soil for all my potted plants.

The BEST!!!

I have always used this in my flower window boxes but I tried another brand this season (due to being on sale) and was NOT SATISFIED AT ALL!!!!

Awful results

I used this product is my Grow Boxes this year because of Mrracle-Gro's reputation. So far this year I have grown bell peppers about the size of a cherry, cucumber plants that did not produce and died and about ten pathetic tomatoes. Thanks Miracle-Gro for wasting my money and an entire growing season. My sister is another town had exactly the same results. No more Miracle-Gro products for me.

Cons: Didn't work as expected, worst soil i have ever bought

We are sorry you were disappointed with Miracle-Gro Potting Mix. Our soils are specially formulated and tested to ensure that plants will grow their best. Keep in mind, however, that your plant's health is affected by many variables. Extremes of light, moisture, and temperature, as well as transplant shock, insects, and disease all can adversely affect plants.
Frequently check the level of soil moisture. Soggy soil will promote root rot, so be sure containers have a drainage hole. For most plants, the soil should stay evenly moist like a squeezed-out sponge. To check the soil moisture level, poke your finger into the soil at the roots to a depth of about one inch. Soil dry one inch below the surface is too dry.
Please note that our potting soils are for use in containers only; potting soil will not drain properly if used in the native earth. Likewise, our Garden Soil, Topsoil, and Lawn Soil are not to be used in containers, as they will not hold moisture correctly in a pot/planter. Finally, it is not necessary to heavily feed plants potted in our potting mixes, as these mixes already contain enough food for at least several weeks of growth. Check the specific soil label for the duration of feeding for that soil type.

Best potting mix available

Killed over $20 in plants

I purchased this and planted tomatoes, etc. Many of my plants are withering up and dying. They are drying up which is definitely not due to lack of water. It is ridiculous to spend extra money for a product that is advertised to eliminate this problem only to have the plants die. Will not buy it in future.
