Excellent for planting flowers, trees and shrubs

Used product to plant flowers and found that not only does it control moisture well, but feeds the plants and stimulates growth far better than other soils. Roots grow quickly and the soil retains moisture far better than other soils.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Effective

Did not control overwatering from the rain and rotted all my plants.

I switched all my outdoor pots to this product this summer and have lost all potted flowers and shrubs to root rot all season long due to it not ever drying out when it rains. I live in AZ and found it extremely unsatisfactory for controlling over-watering.
Cons: Didn't work as expected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

miracle grow killed my plants!

I repotted four healthy, thriving plants in your moisture control potting soil and all four took a nosedive, one of which was a plant from my Grandmothers funeral, and very sentimental to me, has died. The leaves became totally soggy and limp and dropped off. The creeping charlie, which people usually can't kill, is barely hanging on and the new growth is totally stunted. I don't know what was in this soil, I suspect some kind of herbicide or even salt, because the soil appears very gray even a fewbhourscafter watering

Love Miracle Grow Moisture Control for my container garden. As you can see from my zucchini it produces healthy plants.

Moisture Control Potting Mix is the best stuff I've found for growing plants and especially helpful when well-meaning family members forget to water our plants while we're away on vacation. My plants thrive in this stuff and makes me look like an in-door super-gardener. I also use the outdoor stuff, but that's another story. Cheers, Scotts!
