My "Go To" Potting Mix

I live in a drought area and this potting mix works great for my plants. Currently have strawberries planted in a recycled lid from an old BBQ and they are doing great!

Jumpstart your seedlings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When moving new veggie seedlings from their greenhouse grown pots I always blend a large scoop of Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix into my rather heavy garden soil while planting. It works as a great jumpstart for them.

Not nearly as good as it used to be

I've been using this product for years. It used to work very well to keep the plants watered and healthy. It seems to me that Miracle-Gro changed the formula for this product. Because I have to water the plants almost every day and some days twice a day. The moisture control soil does not seem to retain the water like it used to. I will not buy it next year.
Cons: Didn't work as expected, does not retain moisture.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used the Miracle Grow Moisture Control Potting mix to plant our tomatoes for the last three years. It is great,keeps our plants from wilting from the extreme temp. in our area during the hot spring and summer. We also have our many potted hydrangeas in this potting mix. It allows me to water them only once a day. Very convenient.

I love miracle -gro moisture control potting mix. I use it for all of my plants. I don't have a green thumb, but this mix make it easy even for me!
