A Garden Sensation!

MiracleGro is awesome and certainly stands up to its name especially with transplanting and growing my favorite plants. The "Moisture Control" potting mix has been a hit producing delicious container vegetables way better than store bought according to family and friends. I've enjoyed an abundance of Big Bertha Bell, Green Bell, and Banana peppers. Now even the Jalapeño and Tabasco plants are loaded with peppers. From my harvest I've preserved tomatoes, paste, sauce and salsa plus banana pepper rings that are absolutely delicious. The fresh herbs continue to grow well adding great flavor to my favorite recipes. Also, my flowers are vibrant and very colorful too! I don't hesitate to make the 40 mile-round trip to buy a few 2 cubic feet bags at a great price. I've probably purchased 10 or more bags this season and when my greenhouse is built I will be buying more! Thank you for a superb product!

Can’t keep watered

I am experiencing what seems to be a common problem. I have two tomato plants in a container with a drain hole. Both plants have grown to about 2-1/2’ and stopped. I have started watering every couple of days and the soil is still dry. The leaves on both plants are wilted and obviously lacking water. All of the blooms keep dying. I have watered these twice today so they have pepped up a little. These are the only two I planted. I guess I will have to go to farmers market now. Do you have a recommendation of another product which may be more reliable?

White mold

I bought Miracle Grow Organic Choice Moisture Control Potting Mix and potted up some bulbs. There was a white mold on about half the pots which I picked off and they seem to be OK now. A week later I go back to the bag and the mix is totally covered in white mold. The bag was in my garage, not in the sun and at about 50 degrees temp. Not acceptable!
Cons: Didn't work as expected, Bad Odor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product may dry out in storage or shipping due to the peat moss and organic materials. For best results, empty soil into tub or plastic bucket and slowly stir in a small amount of water. Wear garden gloves or use a garden tool to work the soil and water together until moistened. Do not add too much water at once or the mix will become too wet. Soil should be damp like a squeezed-out sponge.

I was a bit sceptical when I first used MiracleGro Moisture Control potting mix because I have tried other products & they did not live up to the hype. I wanted to plant containers to put on my hot & dry patio, so I tried the MiracleGro product & was amazed at how my plants responded. Everything looked great & my tomatoes & herbs were huge. Thanks MiracleGro.....you made me a believer.

I always seem to over water my hanging baskets and flower pots so I decided to give this a try. It is amazing how well it works!! My flowers are thriving and I am watering less than ever. I will be purchasing more of this in the near future for sure!!

I'm on the go a lot and with this I can "forget" to water occasionally and the plants still grow perfect. Now if only I could keep my cat's nose out of of everything!
