The quality of this soil is exceptional!

I use MiricleGrow soil for all new plantings and to save trees and shrubs that are having difficulty surviving. It has excellent moisture control and rich dark soil nutrients that have helped most of my plants. This product shoul one that everyone should try for their home gardens.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Directions, Effective

Miracle-Gro® Moisture Control® Potting Mix is very good mix for plant soil. It retains water longer time, so need not to water plant very frequently.

One product saves time & money

I like to cut corners whenever possible and this product allows me to do that. When re-potting, one step takes care of everything. I don't have to worry about fertilizers for quite a while. And watering is not an issue as this product protects against over- or under-watering.

Great for seedling tomatoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I transplant my seedling tomatoes from their tiny cells to transition pots, I use Miracle Grow Moisture Control. There's far less chance of losing young plants due to the soil drying out as they await warmer weather to go out in the garden.

Expensive Mulch with Gnats

Purchased this type of soil in hopes that the higher price would mean higher quality than the regular potting “soil”. Once again, plants rotting because the “soil” doesn’t dry out. House and patio full of gnats! This is really just a bag of mulch and gnats. Maybe it’s good if you want to use around outdoor plants as mulch. I’ve wasted so much time and money on miracle gro products.

Horrible potting soil.

I thought I was purchasing potting soil and it seems to be more like mulch. I am very disappointed in this product, it was full of sticks and what seemed to be bark chips.
Cons: Didn't work as expected, Messy
